Review on 🚤 Garmin 0101200611 Heavy Duty Transom Mount: Ultimate Spray Shield for Enhanced Navigation by Pat Nard

I bought this to replace a plastic transducer mount which I thought would not hold up over time. The SS mount was nice and strong, but I replaced the 2 nuts and bolts with 1 shoulder bolt, one nut on the inside of the frame and one nut on the outside of the frame for a secure fit and easier adjustments if needed. I didn't think this fender would actually work with the newer style of transducers as mine is set to slide perfectly through the water, but I got poor readings and lots of tail tails and vertical splash. So I installed the fender and lowered the transducer and I have never seen the transducer slide so smoothly in the water, set so low and I have no tail tails and no vertical splash. My readings are solid and I'm confident that the stainless steel bracket will last for many years to come. And the price is right, so I'm satisfied.
