Great product, best quality.

I took it as a gift to my husband, the husband is happy, it turned on, everything is fine, we haven’t tried it on the water yet, we hope everything will be fine, for such money :) True, the delivery is of course long) but it’s very convenient that the courier brings.

Got pros: An excellent echo sounder for your money, since I have a 2800 boat, this size is the most optimal. Different cons: You are constantly afraid of damaging something, since the components, if you buy them separately later, of course I am a neat person, but this thought does not leave my head)

Perfect product for any user!

Sonars are noticeably more expensive with map downloads, so the lack of a download can hardly be considered a disadvantage. In addition, there is not much trust in other people's cards, as individual, even large, stones are fixed on the screen, but will not be displayed in the final map. The echo sounder will "record" only the depths around the rocks. And the stones themselves need to be displayed manually with labels. Label names are inconvenient (cumbersome) to enter. Noticeably more…

Pros
  • The class of the device is two orders of magnitude higher than Chinese handicrafts, but not ideal, which is dictated by the price niche. Draws a depth map well. It is possible to understand most of the functions on the menu, without a description. Works confidently with a small depth of immersion of the sensor, due to which, as well as a streamlined shape, it does not slow down the boat much. It is easy to quickly put a mark on the map. Automatic modes work well, although the bottom line is often lost during sudden changes in depth. Visibility in the sun is more or less acceptable. Quite logical display of depths in different colors, a useful predictive function (small depths along the direction or side of the movement are highlighted in red even before measurement). Sees schools of fish well. It is clear that this is exactly the jamb and at what depth. Phishing is not an issue at all. Large amount of tracking memory (for amateur purposes).
Cons
  • At a speed of 25 km / h, with a poor quality of the bottom, it can lose depth even by 5 m. With a good one, a depth of 124 m is recorded. Deeper - as you're lucky, you often have to slow down to 10-15 mph. The main disadvantage of this class of echo sounders is an external battery. But there is no choice (either a powerful impulse or convenience). Not the most convenient connectors.

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

Bought in the spring for 10500r (new). A week ago it was tested on the Volkhov River. Impressions are excellent. The thing is quality. He sees a fish. It is convenient to use. Nice plastic stand. Draws a map of the bottom. JPS detects immediately. Shows boat speed, water temperature, depth, fish depth. You can put location markers and use them to return to the starting point. There is a fisher function, but I don't need it yet. The screen looks great in the sun. It was a little unusual that the

Good product. Excellent price.

Great little gadget. I use it on my boat to record speed and read bottom and depth. No map function, but you can create your own depth map and mark waypoints and such. story courses and such. Sonar is a bit tricky to interpret, but so are all sonars. From my research, this is the cheapest finder out there. Excellent unit.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Easy to use! for echo sounders and fish finders

While I regret not ordering the CV version, it's still a great product for the price. Very easy to use and my 11 year old daughter becomes my GPS/Sonar operator while we fish our kayaks! The good image quality and the outline display function are amazing! I use 3000mAh 3S RC airplane lithium polymer battery packed in a sealed plastic case, which can power the device for about 13 hours, which is more than enough for my fishing trip.

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • No performance

I broke down in a week and can't ask Garmin support for help

Unfortunately I could not use it. After just a few uses, the device failed (turned off and won't turn back on). I've tried contacting Garmin support to fix this issue, but each time they made me wait over a week for a response (which doesn't really help with my faulty device). It's been over 3 weeks since I first contacted them and nothing happened. This is very bad because the product is good. Inexpensive and with good features. worst service. I am deeply disappointed.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great compact sonar but

Be careful using it in salt water. I've had the device for about 8 months and after 3 months I had to replace the power cable (about 12 failures, the connection melted). The connectors on the back of the device are not waterproof and can corrode. I covered everything in dielectric grease right after installing the unit, removing it from the kayak, cleaning it and storing it in a dry place after each ride, and I still have to regularly clean the pins from corrosion. The sensor closes flush…

The image of this device is false and misleading.

I needed a new fish finder for my pontoon boat and on the advice of a friend I bought this device. It sure works; However, the device limits some of the depth of the device to a small digit, as opposed to the larger size shown in the advertised photo. Please refer to my picture as it is as big as a figure can get. Working with such a small size is very difficult, believe me. I contacted Garmin and asked about it and was told sorry this is too much. I could have bought a cheaper device and used…

Great tool for ice fishing. And open water too.

Bought exclusively for ice fishing. I also received a handheld kit from Garmin. For the first time on the ice, the device showed itself perfectly. I was at 30 feet and set the transducer to 200kHz for a narrower cone angle. I have a flasher that I usually use for ice fishing and I thought I'd use it in this case too, but I've used Garmin's A-Scope card more. I liked how I saw the story of what was happening, how the fish reacted to my jig. I used a standard boat sensor. I did not purchase a…
