Not a big review guru or anything but it should be let out to anyone thinking of buying this piece of junk!. So I just went through my second of these in four days. The first one came and I installed it in my car cup holder (yes I've had these before!) and as I tightened I noticed the knot was still a little loose so I tightened it a bit. I heard a disgusting snap and the knot became very loose again. It didn't sound good so I took it out to make sure it was still working. nope! The clamping screw could still be turned, but the device no longer expands to the size of a cup. Damn. Came back and got a replacement. A replacement arrived today, which I installed even more carefully in the drink holder. I went slow, didn't use pliers, just my hands, and as I pulled tighter the knot stretched but was never tight. It slipped a bit in the cup holder so very carefully and slowly I tightened a little more. There was another crackling sound and the device was fried. What a garbage product. I didn't over tighten, in fact I carefully checked the knot along the way to make sure it was tight so I could stop twisting. There are no dice. Very easily broken and destroyed and should be recycled or discontinued immediately. DO NOT buy this product. You will regret it like me!
