This thing is made out of the worst, cheapest plastic ever. It broke at the junction with the suction cup. I can't even tape it to fix it. Don't, don't even waste your money! I only had it 3.5 months and it broke, the return expiry date passed 30 days after purchase. So you're wasting your hard-earned money on something that's probably made in China from cheap plastic. How they laugh at stupid Americans who buy everything made in China!

This mount allowed me to attach my Lucky FFW-718 Wireless Portable Fish Finder to my Hobie Mirage Sport Kayak. The first one I bought 10 years ago. One of my kids was fumbling with this and managed to break one of the pieces that attaches to the air vents so I just bought a new one. So the old one lasted 10 years! I looked at the new ones but went for it - it's cheap and suits me. I haven't encountered the problems that others have had with the button extending the holders. They serve from 8 months to a year and a half, but using old parts from defective parts will extend their life. I bought this iPhone holder for a second car window. It's almost identical to the one I bought from Best Buy for my first car, but a different brand. Ironically, all of the components are nearly identical in form and function, except the suction cup simply doesn't have the flexibility to generate like the other suction cup.
