Works like clockwork - DVD player

This small and compact DVD player can be placed or taken anywhere. The only good thing about it is that it has a built-in media player, so you're essentially getting two in one. It can play almost any video and it can read subtitles as far as I can tell. In terms of build quality, the tray might feel a little flimsy, but it seems to pull out just fine. It's not too loud, but it can get a little warm, so keep it outdoors. The remote control is very simple and small, so you don't have to take up too much space on your coffee table. Although the DVDs may not be perfect, this one plays every region, so I have tons of DVDs from other countries that I can play now. It can read USB and hard drives, which is nice. However, it installs a small folder on the flash drive for reading but without any harm. It connects via HDMI, but the upscaling isn't overly strong, if at all, so expect slightly lower picture quality. For USB, everything seems to work fine when using 1080p video. Overall I think this is a pretty decent DVD player. It's small so you can easily store it if you want, and even if you don't watch loads of DVDs you get a media player option. Honestly, it's the best of both worlds.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
