Coming from a full HJC helmet from 2010. Before you think it's old it only has about 2,300 miles on it. Fast forward to 2022. I'm going to buy a new bike so I got this helmet because it's carbon fiber (CF) and cheap for CF. It's noticeably lighter than my hjc, which was polycarbonate. Not a big difference, but noticeable. The biggest difference is how easy it is to drive. I almost don't feel it. The hjc had terrible gusts of wind, enough that I had to resist using my neck muscles the faster I went. This helmet is so aerodynamic that it makes the difference between day and night. However, this helmet is MUCH louder than my HJC. It does not bother me. I love how light it is and how I can relax my neck when I travel. It doesn't even resist when I turn my head while driving. With hjc I had to be awake and strain my neck looking over my shoulder. If you have any doubts, it's quality. I also like the look of the CF. Not only did they weave straight, but they made a pattern out of snake skin. It's unique. Great helmet. If you're on the fence, get it.
