As an old school I have microcassette machines. The digital age doesn't suit each role, but it doesn't suit me. I used these recordings to send voice messages to my brother or sister in Minnesota who they re-record and send back. Sony seems to be holding up better than Panasonic or Memorex so I keep buying them. It also helps that they exist, unlike other brands that are slowly disappearing. I've been making letters this way for 15 years and in my experience these are the best ribbons out there.
