Durable and functional

As an old school I have microcassette machines. The digital age doesn't suit each role, but it doesn't suit me. I used these recordings to send voice messages to my brother or sister in Minnesota who they re-record and send back. Sony seems to be holding up better than Panasonic or Memorex so I keep buying them. It also helps that they exist, unlike other brands that are slowly disappearing. I've been making letters this way for 15 years and in my experience these are the best ribbons out…

Sony 60 Minute Microcassette 10 Pack

You are great. I bought a pack of these, about 6-8 packs in the last 8-9 years. They are still usable. I never ran out of a recording tape while rewinding or dictating (me or my typist). I mention this fact because in the past it has been very frustrating for me to face this problem and try to remember what I have dictated. I've often had failures with Olympus, Panasonic and especially with Memorex, since I've been using Sony, by the way, I'm a doctor and I dictate all day.

This is a cheaper product than other similar products. Discontinued by Sony, apparently due to the decline in popularity of small portable analog devices such as small tape recorders. We prefer analog new digital versions for a variety of purposes, although we believe there is a lot of flexibility in what can be done with a digital file containing a recording in today's digital world; For example on different device platforms.
