This is my first fitness smartwatch so I have a limited set to compare with the Venu. What I can tell you is that I like my watch: + They are beautiful and bright; I can easily read it in the sun.+ Glass is durable. If it was my phone the screen would break 5 times + now. The training program is excellent. I've lost 25 pounds in four months since I started working with a trainer. As I run them, getting cues on the next step in my workout is new to me and incredibly helpful.+ They do what I want in a regular smartwatch: reliable fitness-related tools like PulseOx and a sleep tracker. The heart rate monitor seems fairly accurate, although I haven't done extensive testing. A few cons for the sake of balance: Standard watch faces are pretty bad. Go to the Connect IQ Store and download the best ones. They're free and much nicer.- Sometimes my emails "retrigger" and I have to decline them multiple times. This resulted in being bombarded with emails from time to time - I was receiving over 10 emails at a time which was messing up my watch and many of those emails were repetitive. I would say that happens several times a week. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. If I break my Venu, I end up buying another one. And I think that's enough.
