Review on InterDesign 65871 Pebblz Rack Bronze by Amber Vue

We rent an apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bathroom is EXTREMELY tiny and doesn't have enough space to decorate or do anything special which I hate. We have a fancy shower curtain and shower rings and otherwise no wall space for pictures or floor space for carpets. When we moved in the previous owners had a single white hook on the back of the door to hang a single towel. Not only was it ugly but when we moved in it wobbled like it was about to fall out and after about 6 months it finally fell out. Well, to finally add something interesting to this bathroom, I stumbled upon it and bought it. It looks really beautiful in person and is literally different from the shower curtain, the only colored and personalized item in our tiny little bathroom. I can't give it 5 stars because of two little things: firstly, when you get close you can tell that the pebbles have been attached with a glue gun. Yellow hard glue is sticking out from under the leftmost pebble. So if I look closely, it reminds me of some sort of school project, but I doubt any of my guests will ever inspect my towel rail. Second, my husband complained about how the pebbles actually felt. They are not smooth or shiny, they feel "fresh from the river, slightly dirty/dusty". I even tried wiping them down with a wet rag and when they dried they still had that awkward texture. You don't hang towels on the pebbles, there are hooks under each pair of pebbles so I guess that's not a problem. Overall I really like it, especially the fact that it just hangs over the door for easy removal later when we can finally move into our own home. Note that this may not work for very thick, heavy-duty doors. The hangers are very flimsy which is great for our cheap old doors but for some it can really limit where they can be hung. There's no place on it to screw it to the door to make it more secure, but it seems to hold up pretty well just hanging from ours.
