My husband received this 65 inch Minka Slipstream fan after a demo and the homeowners were about to throw it out. Don't ask me why Anyway, we plugged it in at our house but it doesn't work. I did some research and it turned out that the fan and light don't work at all without the correct Minka remote control, RC400. I have it. Insert the battery. Turned on the light switches to turn on the electricity. Hold the square button down for about 10 seconds and it turned on and passed the 6 minute test. Works perfectly.
