but when you're active you can wear them underneath comfortably. I took them with me when I volunteered.

Not the warmest if you're just sitting, but if you're active they're quite comfortable to wear. I took them with me when I volunteered in the Purdue Outing Club Adventure Race. Ten hours in the southern Indiana woods but my fingers stayed dry and dry chopping wood. I had to change gloves when just sitting around as they don't have the insulation that other gloves have, but the dexterity when active is top notch.
