They didn't work for what I got then, but that's not their fault. They are very durable and once I figure out what to do with them I'm sure they will work great.

Inserting two bars at once and overlapping them in a staggered pattern results in a thin reinforcement at each end and a double reinforcement in the middle, which stiffens the piece fairly well without adding unnecessary weight.
