Ideal for securely installing new high-capacity (8GB+) hard drives in a classic Mac Pro tower. Adds a 3rd location for hard drive mounting screws (the screws need to be moved to the appropriate location on the holder). If you're frugal, you can try using a standard Mac Pro 2-bolt holder that still fits the drive and use another method to secure the other half of the drive, such as a B. strong adhesive tape. That may be fine in a pinch, but it's not a reliable long-term solution. Take this OWC sled instead.
