While this relatively simple cotton bag is a little pricey, Vera Bradley's redesigned crossbody bag has a lot going for it. First, I'd rather buy more sustainable, recycled products than add to my generation's gargantuan carbon footprint. The bag is perfect for my body. The top part of the sling fits comfortably under my arm and because the shoulder straps are adjustable, the bag doesn't hang too high or too low. Also, it doesn't look too big or boxy but has a slim, chic and attractive silhouette. Surprisingly this lightweight wallet holds ALL my belongings despite being only 9" x 11" x 2": wallet, makeup bag, mask and both glasses and glasses cases. I appreciate the external zip pocket designed for quick access. I'm particularly pleased that the outer phone pocket is large enough to fit my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I had a hard time deciding on a color but I settled on a neutral olive green. I made the right choice: goes with everything! Two identical bands are a lovely feminine touch that elevates the masculine army green. The color does not fade after washing in the washing machine on cold cycle. Considering all of its thoughtful features, I RECOMMEND Vera Bradley's redesigned crossbody bag, although it's a bit pricey.
