the holder seems to work fine. Works stably, does not vibrate much. I am using it with an iPhone 7 and the error popped up by itself. The left bracket it sits on popped out and rotated to the left, and my phone fell out multiple times while driving. This is dangerous and potentially harmful to the phone. Luckily it was plugged in and the charging cable kept it from falling to the floor. I've found that there is a small "latch" holding the clip in place, but a sharp tap might be enough to knock it out. I consider this a serious design flaw. But I would give 4 or 5 stars for that.
