When my combustion blower motor finally gave out after over 10 winters I called my local dealer and almost fell out of my chair when he quoted the price. A quick internet search revealed that this product is about 60% cheaper than the advertised retail price!. An installation note: it does not come with a fan that needs to be migrated from the old device. After 10 years, the fan froze on the shaft of the old motor. No amount of penetrating oil or heat from a propane torch will release it. Finally I sawed off the motor shaft under the fan and was able to remove the rest of the shaft with a punch and hammer. This must be done carefully so as not to deform the fan, which can cause vibration during installation.
