Few used but no defects yet. The carrier is HTL, so possibly non-organic, but there is no official information. The reflectivity is better than other HTL and the recording contrast is much better than other Blu-ray disc. It registers quickly when pasted, a good measure of readability. My recorder picks them up at 8x and they're officially rated 8x to 12x depending on the recorder - great speed! I have already recorded 100 discs. I had 2 failed drives, very reasonable for a cheap product. They work great on the four players we tested, including an old buggy player that had problems with a lot of discs.
