I've been driving too close to parking locks all the time with my front spoiler and splitter and this is definitely the answer. Real metal! fantastically strong. I cut it - I don't like real front license plates - and placed it in the center of the lower grille - which is also black - and it just disappears and doesn't break the care line. It's fully adjustable and gives me a great warning of an approaching parking garage. I ended up hooking it up to a circuit that turns on when the ignition is turned on. That way I can see it at all times and don't have to turn it on and off. However, the cigarette lighter plug with switch is very good and I plan to use it for something else. Great job guys! It's much easier than running cables through a firewall. Love how easy it was to connect. I have an extra phone that I leave plugged in as a dedicated monitor, but it works just as easily on my main phone.
