When I received the backpack, the first thing I did was put a roll of kitchen paper in it and closed it. I soaked the pouch in a water bath for 15 minutes, took it out, opened it and found the paper towel was completely dry. I will say that some water got into the front pocket but that doesn't bother me as I won't be using the front pocket. I also liked the size and depth of this bag as it is very large and deep. That's more than I really need, but I've decided to keep such a miracle product to myself. I know that this backpack will accompany me for years. Thank you for creating such a wonderful product. I would highly recommend the Sak Gear Waterproof backpack to anyone looking to protect their valuables from water, sand, mud and whatever.
