Shutdown repeatedly with only new 50ft cable, slow running speed.

The device hardly works when it works and certainly does not achieve USB 2.0 speeds at 1/3 of the specified distance. The USB 2.0 webcam is limited to 360p and VERY low frame rates, even with an active hub on the other end. Tried using this with a USB steering wheel and separately with a webcam to extend my PC setup to the TV but no dice. Both the remote hub and attached devices will randomly disconnect even if you try to drive without the hub.
