Review on πŸ’« Renewed Samsung Galaxy A71 5G Fully Unlocked (128GB, Prism Cube Black) by Agata Stadnicka ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A normal product, however, does not fully correspond to the description.

Of the pros: a cool colorful Amoled screen, the internal memory is large enough + you can insert an additional SD card, which I immediately did, 2 SIM cards are also not bad, and one of the key parameters is a fairly powerful battery and fast charging, which could not help but rejoice in this aspect. The amount of random access memory (RAM) and central processing unit (CPU) is comparable, however I didn't really detect any difference in terms of performance. Before that, there was the Honor9, which had characteristics that were, of course, much worse, but it worked very quickly. However, after installing all of the applications that were on Honor in Samsung, I noticed periodic freezes of the smartphone. This is the first negative aspect of the device. It would appear that there are not 6 gigabytes of Memory available. The camera is the second thing that lets the A71 down; I didn't even detect any difference between it and the camera on my previous Honor device. I am aware that this is not a premium market, but despite that fact, I still anticipated the very best! The darn fingerprint scanner has been the single most frustrating thing for me that I've come across. I have no idea how well it works in the luxury part of the Galaxy S20 and S21, but in the A71, it is a complete failure! To give you an example, with my previous Honor, it was sufficient to make a light touch with a finger in order for the screen unlock to work immediately, and I could register up to three distinct fingers. I read in the reviews that you need to register one finger three times so that the print works better. Here, the situation is just a complete nightmare; in order for the print to work, you have to press the screen a number of times, and you have to do this like several times. Yes, I did it, and it started to work a little better, but in the end, no one else besides me can unlock the phone using their fingerprint, and I can't use my other finger either. Most importantly, I still have to press the screen like a damned one in order for it to work. Although it was successful, the issue is not entirely resolved, and the phone will still think before acting. Yet, there is still a possibility that the fingerprint will not be identified as belonging to the correct person. Guys, this is it; this is the most important part. In this particular respect, Samsung has not made any changes for the past six years. I used to have a Galaxy S5, but I didn't use the fingerprint scanner because it wasn't any worse on that phone. However, because I use the fingerprint scanner on my Honor phone, I'm already used to it.

Pros
  • Stunningly elegant smartphone with a vibrant super Amoled screen, ample storage space, and the option to add more. memory expandable by microSD card, a battery that is extremely powerful, and rapid charging
Cons
  • The device that reads fingerprints. The performance is still subpar despite the fact that it has a decent quantity of RAM.
