Works well and meets specs in direct sunlight. The current seems to drop fairly quickly when the lights go out, but that's to be expected with solar panels. I measured volts and amps with a multimeter both indoors under 40 watt lights and outdoors under the 2 p.m. Louisiana sun to test the two brightness limits. and temperature. It ran (not shockingly) pretty poorly internally, but still consistently drew up to 4V/0.22A from the included DC plug. Externally, however, it jumped to a whopping 23.5V/0.4A. While the current there is still a bit lower than expected (the manual says a maximum of 3.3A), this wasn't a complete test, and there are many reasons why this is the case could be less than peak amps. However, the ability to deliver almost 24V is quite impressive. Aside from the results of my tests, the panel itself is quite good. It is built into a nice case/carrying case with Velcro stand and zippered pocket for output ports. When folded, the panel is slightly larger than a briefcase, very compact for going out. It's also a lot thinner than I expected, although it's quite snug. Overall I can recommend this panel. Although my (again non-exhaustive) tests showed slightly less power than expected, it's still a very capable panel. Even though it's slow to charge in low light, it only charges in light, which is incredibly handy in a number of situations. If I had the choice for partial asterisks I'd give it 4.75, but that easily rounds up to 5 given what I said above.
