been purchasing gel battery replacements and they need more than a cheaper tender ,supposedly. this should do nicely.

received charger yesterday and charged a small sealed lead acid battery. Works great, led lights indicated intial battery charge state, and then charge progess. A great product! Thanks

This unit failed after two and one half years. it was in a home environment charging the backup battery for our data devices. Was not abused nor in a harsh environment yet it failed in just a short time. Replaced with another brand and up came our backup system.I would not recommend this charger.Rf-Tn

I like that this maintainer actually charges at a reasonable rate to begin with. Charging at 5 amps initially will bring the battery back up to a maintenance level much quicker than those little wall wart maintainers. The 7 stages of charging make the unit ideal to bring back neglected and sulphated batteries that a regular battery charger will not accomplish. I am also pleased that it came with a carrying case and assorted adapter cables.

My car battery went dead over the holidays, I thought I needed a replacement. The mechanic recommended trying a battery charger first as he claimed over 50% of "dead" batteries could be brought back using a trickle charger. I chose this model for the features and was not disappointed. It brought my battery back to full performance in February. I don't run my vehicles very often in winter and now I use this once a month and they run great! I look forward to trying it on my lawnmower come spring.

The charger works as described, it is being used as a charger for our entry gate, the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because it has only been installed for abut a month, we'll see.

I like the fact that it is microprocessor controlled so that it is not constantly charging the battery. Great for maintaining the battery for longer durations. Unfortunately, it did not get a 5 rating due to the length of the cords. The low voltage side should have longer cords (only 4 ft. should be at least 6-8 ft) so that the trickle charger can be outside the engine compartment and thus the leds are visible without lifting the hood and it you cover the car then outside the cover.

I like it a lot. I only have one complaint. The multiple lights that come on don't really add any value. The labeling on them requires a magnifying glass to read, and then it's a "So what?" The power cord is shorter than would be convenient.I give them major kudos for a tip in the manual. It advises that if the battery you are connecting to is depleted way down, you should connect a jumper battery to the problem one for a while so that at least some charge (>2 volts) can be detected by this…

Took days to charge car battery. I had asked for an replacement because the voltage I measured was 6.2.Vendor confirmed what i had discovered output voltage is between 5.5-6.5 and it was within the normal output range not hooked to battery.All of my other chargers output voltage is 12 Volts.So in my option they should not be advertising it as a 12V battery charger

Easy to attach, works well. This is made for inflatable boat trolling motors. My girl used these and had no trouble figuring it out as a non mechanical inclined type. Recommended

I charge batteries almost everyday. I had smart chargers, last 2 yr before going dead. Now I have this charger in hand, it's one of the better ones and still working today.

It was a battery maintainer for sure and it does a great job at that. I used it on my car for an extended time (12+ hours) and worked great for that. However, some people said it takes too long to charge and I have not tested that. If you need a tendor for cheap it's the winner for the price. I have no reason not to like it but if you want to fully charge a boat or something I don't know. Charged a totally drained car battery overnight. Not sure exactly how many hours, but not more than 8. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

I bought this unit based on the positive using experience from others, just take the battery trickle charger to monitor the charging process of generator on my boat, the blinking led light will tell you the charging status, does everything it's supposed to, highly recommend this seller and product!

the price is RIGHT and the product works FABULOUSLY to keep my riding mower battery charged. you could pay more, but why? I highly recommend.
