My car battery went dead over the holidays, I thought I needed a replacement. The mechanic recommended trying a battery charger first as he claimed over 50% of "dead" batteries could be brought back using a trickle charger. I chose this model for the features and was not disappointed. It brought my battery back to full performance in February. I don't run my vehicles very often in winter and now I use this once a month and they run great! I look forward to trying it on my lawnmower come spring.
