I've done a lot of old school plumbing so I'm no stranger to twisting a strip of putty. However, this putty completely changed my relationship with this putty jar! Putty is applied in a strip of uniform width and thickness, making it ideal for installing exhaust fans, windows and anything that goes through something like a roof or wall that you don't want to leak through. I have used it on body patches on my old RV, on the flanges of new roof vents, around vent pipes etc etc etc. I've used it in far more places than I could ever imagine. want. It's good stuff and a lot easier to use than the old way of twisting strips!
