Great job! Our pool liner had a few leaks and is holding up great! Note that you cannot use this underwater. Once it's stuck, it can't be removed without some kind of chemical remover.

Shown is the second patch. Thought the first one (same thing happened) was my mistake. I sprayed the spot with soapy water to find the holes. The second time wiped with alcohol. But the patch still didn't work. DISAPPOINTMENT!

It's amazing how well this works! We didn't drain the pool enough and the tape got wet, but once the tape dries it becomes sticky again. Definitely worth the money if you need repairs and aren't willing to replace. We saved $6,000 on a new liner, now we'll save on a new liner next year.

. ironically, they are not waterproof. My project would be better without it. It's not the fault of the product itself, but it's not practical to use. I've used it in tight spaces and trying to get a straight flat mount in tight spaces proved impossible. Worse, it was impossible to fix properly.

I patched some holes in vinyl baseboard today and the tape was easy to work with. Peel off about half of the tape, tape in place, and peel off the rest, rubbing the edges well. I used a box cutter with a fresh blade to cut the tape. When I was done, Goo-Gone removed the remaining glue from the blade. Will update this review when some time has passed regarding weather protection and long term commitment. So far, so good!

Purchased to repair an Intex above ground pool liner. It was stated to work underwater. It had little grip from the start and when it hit the water it lost all of its grip. The edges immediately began to curl. I followed the instructions in the letter. Does it really stick? Not exactly a plus. I would recommend underwater glue and vinyl to fix anything underwater.

Not sure if it's quality control, old stock or bad product but this thing started to unravel after opening. I gave 5 stars for "easy to remove" just for fun as it didn't last long. I thought I was doing something wrong like there was a carrier I didn't know about but no, just a bad product. Might work if the batch is good, but I don't want to try. I've read mixed reviews as to whether or not it was waterproof (need to fix a couple of intex vinyl pool leaks above bottom). I've tried it both in and out of the (full) pool and neither has worked in any way that could be described as successful. Difficult to cut, almost impossible to tear off, and it grips instantly by sticking to hard surfaces, so strong it's difficult to remove (so position correctly first time .) These are all very desirable properties in a "patch-and-seal" tape. In my house it makes a great patch for a damaged gutter that can withstand 90 degree heat, freezing and heavy rain. I used this tape to seal window trim in a sunny room in my house that has too much dry rot. The windows need to be replaced but we don't want to invest in the space because we will tear it down as we add an extension over time. The wood is cracked and weakened in places.
