Difficult to cut, almost impossible to tear off, and it grips instantly by sticking to hard surfaces, so strong it's difficult to remove (so position correctly first time .) These are all very desirable properties in a "patch-and-seal" tape. In my house it makes a great patch for a damaged gutter that can withstand 90 degree heat, freezing and heavy rain. In addition, it is almost invisible and will likely remain as a permanent renovation. The only mistake I had was trying to patch a hole in my car's wood insulation, it wouldn't stick to the fabric but it was a real challenge to remove where it was stuck to the metal on an edge. I've seen complaints that the edge of the roller is sticky and it is, but it can come in handy when working on stairs or in a hazardous area. Just place the roller on the nearest hard surface and it won't roll or fall off while you work. I've tried competing products but none have performed as well as the Weatherproof Patch and Gorilla Sealing Tape.
