Review on X-Large Chilly Dog Red Cable Sweater for Dogs by Jana Johnson

I found one of these sweaters at a local thrift store for my large dog, 34lbs, and wish I had one for my little chihuahua who was really the one who needed it . I was thrilled to find out that Revain sold the same sweater in a smaller size and immediately ordered a gray one to match the thrift store find. it fits him, 7.3 pounds, perfectly. Then I saw the red one in stock and bought it. They are made of 100% wool. They will wither if not washed carefully, but the warmth is worth it, even when damp. I hand wash them and lay them flat to dry, no big deal. I was pleased to learn that they were handcrafted according to fair trade principles by Quechan Indian artisans in South America. Add in organic wool and all natural vegetable dyes and you have a lovely purchase. The bottom is cut high enough for dog boy which was an issue with the pair of sweaters I bought for him. It's an annoyance none of us want. I would recommend this sweater to anyone who has a dog that gets cold.
