For the price, this actually is not a bad deal. If I had one big upfront gripe that would be the shipping cost which was ridiculous.First - If you are taller than 5 feet 5 inches (apologize for metric conversion, too lazy to do math atm) then you are too tall for this chair.Second - The arm rests are just fabric covering mulch wood more or less and you will disintegrate them from just putting weight on them, but the sides and overall structure integrity of the chair is quite high.Everything else about this chair is pretty good, but recommend at least a memory foam or similar firm pillow with also possible another pillow to sit on to get to average sitting height. This thing is extremely low. Right now I have two pillows for sitting and one bed reading pillow for the deteriorating arm rests and for back support because again this is a very low and small chair. Can fit this thing literally anywhere and assembly is extremely easy.Other than the armrests literally falling through on sides the structural integrity of this chair is very sound and I'm a very tall, big guy.Would I recommend this as a good solution for everyone? No, but if you're looking to save a buck and deal with having to cover the armrest sections with something to prevent disrepair it's not terrible. I was able to make this work but only with effectively engineering solutions for the chair's many detracting features. If you only plan to actually recline and are a smaller framed person than this chair is built for you. I attempted to "recline" in this thing and my legs were practically hanging off the end of this chair, but reclining and returning to sit position is smooth in my opinion. Easier than the 300 dollar cheap recliner I bought on amazon that is considerable bigger and more comfortable than this one for someone my size. But, you know at the end of the day you should just know what you're getting for the cheap alternative and where this is made craftsmanship is just expected to be poor. So be aware, and prepare for something to be off about it. If I could spend the money for lazy boy recliners I would be all over them.
