Small, my opinion
I love them but they are very small! Ordered size 7/8 for my 7 year old granddaughter who is bar skinny and too tight. When flat, the 7/8 waistband is 9" wide (see photo). It is 1-1.5 inches smaller than her size 6 pants. Too bad I have to send them back. .

- Great material, not very stretchy but my daughter loves them!
Cons
- The leggings were too long and tight for my daughter.
