I've got a built-in home office desk that creates some lengthy runs to power outlets or my minitower computer, and this is perfect to set things up without special length cords.I didn't consider my desk back edge spacing very well - the top only has a little over 1/2" overhang past paneling all around it. My custom made desk has an outlet strip underneath, and I have spent a lot of time reaching under there to plug in a charger or other item. This clamps onto the rear edge of the desk in an area that does not interfere with my regular work and places both USB 5V and AC right at my fingers! One of the few products I've recently bought that actually lived up to the expectations. The cord is much longer than I need, but that's my problem to solve not the product's. I love this!

This is an excellent way to bring some power to a more accessible location. I find I need to plug a lot of random stuff in at my work desk and computer space. This is perfect. Clamps to the side of the table, holds quite steady.Plugs are easy to use and the cord to the wall is a good length but not excessive.Things like this are massively handy and don't take up a lot of room. Not having to climb under my desk to plug in short term use stuff is worth the price all by itself as I am no longer young or spry.100% recommended.

My desk has a lip and the locking mechanism for the plug to the desk wasn't deep enough for it to work well. If the edge of your table is flat this should work fine.

I have a bamboo desktop surface from Ikea that is tapered at the top. Because of that, the adjustable clamp on the bottom of this outlet would not catch on the bottom of the desk so I had to return it. If it did fit I would have kept it!

Fits perfect on my computer workbench. It doesn't jut out past the edge of the table so you can push it close against the wall if needed.

The USB-C port does not provide enough juice to charge my MacBook and the USB-A port makes a cyclic whining noise when connected to my phone. Most disappointing.
