I installed an eight camera Reolink NVR pack and then added six more of my choice including a WiFi camera for an area where we couldn't run Cat 5e cable. Instead of running back to the NVR from each camera, I bought four TP-Link PoE switches (great product) and connected the cameras in clusters of 3, 4, and 6 cameras each. The pair of cameras closest to the DVR are in excellent condition. These cameras are connected to two PoE ports on the back of the NVR, and the rest are connected to a LAN port containing a WiFi camera. It works great. The products come with almost no documentation, so I went to the Reolink website. This is incredibly bad. like it was written with google translate. The system is pretty much plug and play, but if you run into any problems, you can fix them yourself. Suggestion for Reolink: You have created a good product; Spend a few bucks and hire an English speaking editor to clean up your website. Example: One of your employees said that sharing cameras via a switch is a great solution and another said that using more than two cameras is not recommended. I have six cameras connected to a full resolution switch and they look great. I changed my original rating from four stars to five stars because the hardware is very good and everything works well when set up properly.
