Review on Sony DSC W290 Stabilization Discontinued Manufacturer by Keerthi Forrest

I had a Sony Cybershot W50 and it took great pictures. Many of my friends were surprised to learn that I used a soap box to take photos of my first baby because the photos were very clear and well focused (no flash on the baby). Unfortunately, the W50 died due to mishandling. . I thought try another Sony. But to my greatest surprise and disappointment, the W290 takes much worse photos than the W50. Photos are usually grainy and always look a bit blurry! After using it for more than half a year, I stumbled on something: when I use the EASY mode (I always thought it was something for the elderly because the fonts are huge in the first place), the photos are a lot better than in advanced mode. From now on I mainly use the EASY mode. One good thing I like is HD video. This is much better than the video captured with the W50. But that was to be expected. I hope it helps.
