Review on 💫 NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP HD Finishing Powder: Translucent Pressed Setting Powder for a Flawless Finish by Jade Allen

I've found that Nyx products aren't always a 'hit' for me and this is one of them. I'm looking for the perfect translucent setting powder and I refuse to pay crazy money for it. This powder starts off by making my face look slightly ghostly white. It does eventually fade, but I suspect that's because the product wears off over the course of the day. I don't use a lot of powder, but I tried using even less to avoid the ghostly white look, but ended up not even having enough powder on my face to fight the oil that was making me look too shiny. I'm a CNA so I'm constantly rushing to work and need something that lasts as I don't even have time to go to the bathroom let alone put on my makeup! This powder is not a complete failure for me. It keeps my shiny face to a minimum for most of my workday. I just think it could be better in terms of lasting longer and not having that spooky effect for the first hour or so. I use the rest so it doesn't go to waste. I'm sure other people will get better results than me using this powder as everyone's skin is different. However, I will continue to look for a translucent setting powder that works for me. Oh, and I'd like to mention that I definitely applaud Nyx for its lack of violence, which is very commendable for the company.
