I bought a Halloween projector with a screen (no stand, you had to hang it on the wall) I bought it specifically to play spooky videos during our Halloween party. I tested it and found I needed to hook up a DVD player to it, which I didn't want to do, so I returned the kit. I bought the same brand projector with DVD player and then bought this projection screen (large screen with freestanding base) separately. After testing it became obvious that the quality of the screen was crucial to the picture quality. Pictures and videos don't capture this screen, it's like watching a 120-inch HDTV in person. I'm so happy I went this route. We've seen a debate, a soccer game, a horror movie, scary videos that I wanted to show like there's a real ghost next to you, it's amazing. There are other projector screens that are a little cheaper, but you get what you pay for.
