I don't have a lot of space to put a trash can near the toilet, so this fits. The picture in the middle shows how to open it to put in and take out the bin liner. It really wasn't explained in the information, so I didn't understand how to change bags at first. The third photo is only for comparison in width with average small cans in stores. As for the "push" design of the top to open, I haven't had any issues so far, but as you know nothing lasts forever, especially when paired with metal springs. But now it serves my purposes, I'm sure I'll get a good 5-6 years from it, especially if/ci it doesn't open/close all the time. Also, I won't be squeezing hard all the time to open the lid, a light squeeze is enough.
