Bought to replace a New Britain 136A 2 jaw puller which I abused for 30 years. It was often the only puller that fit into a tight spot. He finally gave up the jaw after clamping the jaws several times with a chain vise and turning the bolt mercilessly. This GearWrench appears to be of similar quality, but we'll see. The screw is the same with a 3/8-24 thread (so I can use it with old parts). The spider looks solid. Screws, side plates and jaws are strong. Hope the metal holds up. However, I had to chase the threads down the cross because the ridge on one end was trying to chew through the threads. This is not good. And does a small 3-arm puller need a huge plastic case? Do we really need more useless plastic in the world? Throw away the case and wrap it in bubble wrap so you can see the build quality. win win
