I've had these long bottle brushes for almost 2 years now. In general they are very good. Pros: - The flexible head can squeeze through the narrow neck of the bottle, which I had to clean. - The long handle is ideal for reaching the bottom of tall bottles. The stem is flexible but not flimsy. Of course I only used it to wash water bottles, coffee cups, RUB Bottles and the like. I didn't have to clean what was dry and baked. I clean my toiletries bottles within a day of using them, so nothing has ever dried out so much that a little soak in hot water doesn't loosen and a few brush strokes doesn't clean. - The black bristles have held up over time. :- The upper yellow bristles eventually began to weaken and fall out. After a year of use, my brush has run out of yellow bristles on the end of the brush head, preventing me from washing the underside of my legs. I don't feel comfortable throwing the brush away as the side black bristles are still fine. Some of the black bristles at the top become detached; They are longer on one side. I extended the life of my brush after the yellow bristles fell out by folding down some of the black bristles. Viewed from above, part of the stem curves downwards, forming a crown of yellow bristles. I used pliers to straighten this part and then bend it further down so the top black bristles form a new crown. There won't be a lot of crown bristles, but then again, I won't be brushing deeply. This gives me a few extra months of use.
