Don't be put off by low reviews

These are great sheets at a good price. However, these are only great sheets for you if you understand the material and know how to wash them. If you've never owned Egyptian cotton sheets, don't let the 1-star reviews put you off. They have never owned them and have never been told how to properly care for them. Egyptian cotton sheets feel rough at first. Check it out - it's the norm. They get softer with every wash, but there is a special way to wash them. Wash them first (like everyone else) according to the label. To prevent shrinkage, preserve color and prolong life, wash in cold water on gentle cycle with gentle detergents. You don't even need to use the usual amount of detergent. Follow your washer's instructions for top or side loading (ie top load with water first). And don't use fabric softener. If you don't want your sheets to rip, fall apart, or fall apart, wash your sheets separately from your other clothes so that there is enough room. And don't wrap leaves around the stirrer. Overloading the machine or spinning sheets around the agitator will cause sheets (and other garments) to fall apart. After washing, do not leave them in the washing machine. This increases wrinkles. And of course they will wrinkle - this is cotton. Wrinkle-free sheets have formaldehyde added, so good luck if that's what you want. Dry on the lowest temperature setting. The heat shrinks the cotton and adds wrinkles. It also shortens the lifespan of the leaves. If you want to speed up sheet soaking, you can use dryer balls or clean tennis balls in the dryer. And don't overdry them. In fact, they're best taken out when they're barely damp. If you know what you are getting and how to take care of them, you will really love these sheets. I think the main problem with the low ratings is that people aren't taught how to wash clothes anymore and it's not the manufacturer's fault. When investing in clothing, bedding, etc., it's always a good idea to put some effort into proper care.
