Ideal for industrial applications, switchboards, etc.

We have used them in both industrial ethernet applications and in HDMI extenders with CAT 5 or 6 cables, they did not disturb any of the signals. In 2 years of use on 100-300ft cables we haven't had any surge damage so either they work or we didn't need protection. However, the low cost of this item makes it useful insurance in case something happens.
