Review on πŸŽ‰ Colorful 65.6ft WiFi Smart LED Strip Lights - Sync with Music, Alexa, and Google Assistant for Bedroom and Party by Matt Schmick

Great lights but not very user friendly

Two problems you will have with these lights: 1) The Tula app no longer works with Alexa. People are reporting about it everywhere. 2) There are no instructions for connecting the strips after you cut them to length. Bright lights, they look great, the clasps are easy to use to keep them in place. The Tula app lets you create on/off cycles, when and what color you want, etc. However, getting this to work with Alexa is a mystery. I was able to get my two lights to work with Alexa, but to do that I had to create routines. Mysteriously, the next morning after turning on the lights (I received two sets at once), I was able to get the Alexa app to recognize that there was a new Alexa device on my network. I added a lightbulb and named it the same as in the Tula app, but it still didn't work with the voice commands you're probably familiar with. I've had to create my own routines of what I'm talking about to control other Alexa enabled lights and they work. But I want buyers to know that once you connect them to the Tula app, you can't use them with Alexa without some extra work. Also, it was very frustrating to use the included LED connectors to connect the strips. I found a few videos on YouTube that explained everything in detail, but there are NO instructions in the box showing exactly how to connect the light filament after cutting it to length. On the plus side they are quite bright, we use them to light up the ping pong table but my family loves using the Tula app for music. The lights flash randomly when the app "listens" to a song, the flashes are more complex and precise, it's a lot of fun, although it seems partly controlled by your phone's front camera and ambient light sensor. Whichever phone you use to set up the system, you must use it to control this music feature. The remote control works well, but the number of colors you can create is very limited. You really need to use the Tula app to get full control.
