A good product will move the shower head lower towards the user.
One of our showers originally had the shower pipe installed about 6 inches higher. This made access to the shower head difficult for different users. This product has the shower head mounted 7 inches closer to the user and approximately 5 inches lower at an angle. That is correct. The chrome plating on the brass tube is very bright and smooth, and the 7" tube comes with a wrench, two extra rubber washers, some Teflon sealing tape, and installation instructions. I am very happy with this product and would recommend if extra length of shower hose is required.
