This $16 device WORKS! Plug and play on our Win10 PC - no need to download external drivers

I wasn't expecting much, but tests have shown that this USB fax modem is very likely, if not 100%, working on our Win10 PC. The price was $16 with Prime 2 day delivery. We have voice and data service via broadband cable modem. Why buy this fax machine? There are still times when you need to fax documents to legal/real estate/government agencies etc. that will NOT accept emails with PDFs attached or scanned documents. You ALSO need access to a voice/fax compatible "phone line" to use this USB fax modem. It is supplied with a light weight 1 meter (39") telephone line/RJ-11 cable in white. There are NO printed instructions, no documentation, no software CD included. We didn't need and try to contact the seller for technical support. It has two green LEDs, one indicating power and the other lit when actively sending a fax. NO speaker activity for fax monitoring - only two green LEDs are lit. This USB modem shows up as "CX93010 ACF Conexant USB Modem" in the Windows 10 Fax and Scan app in plug and play mode and works through a USB hub. (There was no need to connect directly to the USB port in the computer/laptop case). We had to search/download NO OEM/3rd party/3rd party drivers on our PC to get this device working. We have sent a test fax using this device and our broadband voice/data cable modem to a free fax number at the website address (paste FaxToy into your browser/search engine). This site displays one-way faxes online with a delay of about a minute after receipt. We did not test fax reception. We bought this device solely to send faxes. For the price, this device works and does its job with no frills. Outwardly, it resembled a decades-old Dell USB modem adapter that we kept in an old computer bag downstairs. The adapter we bought here came loaded with Win10 compatible drivers (probably generic), some older fax adapters sold on Revain may not support Win10, this one worked and worked for us.
