Ignore and forget about flashing lights for now. If it works, then it's normal for pedestrians. for everything that moves fast. They are excellent for use in traffic areas, I use them as a fireman. The orange shells are bright and visible from afar, brighter than the standard rubber cones we put on fire engines. Of course, you can't fold them up quickly, but that's a compromise for compact storage. I ordered 5 of these and 5 in Cortina. Both are visually the same, but the Cortina has 1/4 inch taller rubber feet, which isn't a big deal. I've had two cars run over them so will be ordering a replacement set soon.
