I am a quilter, seamstress and bag maker. I need a durable cutting mat for all my work. After years of cutting fabric, leather, and all sorts of other tricks my old mat ripped badly, I went in search of a new cutting mat. I spent a lot of time researching and researching my options and settled on a working lion. To be honest... I wasn't happy with this rug to begin with, but sending it back would have given me a huge headache. The carpet never lay flat... It still didn't lay completely flat. But the kicker happened in the last few weeks. I do all my Christmas presents... And the picture says a lot. These are cuts that will never heal. Yes, I could flip her... And I probably will. Although I'm sure the other side will have the same scar. I will accept this and will continue to use this rug. But my advice to anyone looking for this rug for their purposes, I would advise you to go ahead and choose another one.
