Just wanted to let others know that many of these pressure gauges do not read 4 or 5psi. So I checked my pressure with a high-end digital tire pressure gauge on the tank shredder's valve. The pressure switch was factory off only 1 psi or less. And actually even at 4 or 5 psi it usually doesn't make much of a difference, but in my case I have a constant pressure valve that regulates 62 psi so I was more interested in knowing the true pressure. So I just adjusted the 40/70 switch to cover the 62-pound constant pressure valve. Tip for prolonging the life of the pressure switch: Lubricate the cables and pipes leading to the pressure switch with petroleum jelly to prevent ants from getting between and damaging the contacts. This happened to me after 11 years of trouble free operation of my Square D pressure switch. The new one gets error handling. . .
