Review on 📐 SE 785BC Solid Brass Caliper by Todd Phillips

This is a cheap caliper that unfortunately shows. It's shaky and inaccurate. It is marked and the brass plate is bent rather than machined. It looks good until you use it. It has a vernier scale but it is misaligned so even when closed it indicates it isn't! good digital. The plastic is worn and this should replace it, but the plastic is more accurate, even worn than this, like new. If you are looking for a good quality caliper this is not it. Mine sits in my office now where I use it for basic things without precision and people come and play with it and comment on how good it is. So it's REALLY praised and used; but for model making and anything that requires precision, this is not the case at all.
