Review on ASUS VG24VQE Gaming Curved Monitor: 💻 165Hz, Adaptive Sync, Flicker-Free, Blue Light Filter by Gregory Ibanez

I mainly play FPS (Halo/COD) on XBOX One. This monitor is great! I used to play on a 22 inch Samsung monitor with a 5ms response time. It's really hard to tell between 5ms and 1ms, but the 1ms response time just "feels" crisp and responsive. Games look great on the monitor and the 24" monitor is a great size, significantly larger than my 22" monitor. I think for me personally as a competitive FPS player, 24ft is right on the limit of how big I want my screen to be. The picture is clear, colorful and VERY clear. The buttons on the right rear of the monitor are flimsy, and there's even a very small button on the back (almost like a stick on an Xbox One controller) that lets you navigate menus easily, which is very handy. There's built-in audio that sounds great if you don't have headphones. I muted the external monitor because I'm playing with headphones, which are very easy to turn on and off. Another thing I really like about this monitor is the height adjustment feature. It's really smooth and you can literally drop the monitor onto the monitor base or pick it up quite high. This is great for people playing with it on a desk and wanting to make their chair flush with the monitor. Assembly was very easy, the box arrived in excellent condition, everything was packed very well and securely. It is worth noting that my box arrived as you would buy it in a store. I ordered through Amazon Prime and UPS left it at my door which I am completely satisfied with. I live in a fairly secure apartment but if you live somewhere not so secure make sure you are there or have someone who can collect the package (or make a special request) as this would be VERY easy Say it's a good gaming monitor and someone could easily pick it up and walk away.
