Great buy for convenience. It doesn't have the flexibility, but for the most basic needs, drinking through a straw, this 500-pack is a great deal. Each straw is individually wrapped in paper which is great for hygiene reasons especially in times of Covid-19 fears. I mean, some fast food restaurants have straw dispensers with loose straws that can be contaminated, so it's good to have your own supply. And since straws prevent spills when my kids drink in the car, this is a must. Aside from being durable, they're good enough for multiple uses, if you're only drinking water from the same filled bottle, the list of features for disposable straws is a bit ridiculous: durability, easy to clean? For those who buy metal straws, the truly negligible amount of fossil fuel used to make those 500 straws is better for the environment than the hundreds of gallons of water used to rinse your metal straws after each use and forget about it not the fossil fuels if you use hot water.
